The voting assembly of Mt. Zion is organized corporately with annual elections held each November. The elected officers consist of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and the Chairman of the Board of Elders, the Board of Trustees, and the Board of Christian Education. Elected officers are members of the Church Council which meets monthly to manage the affairs of the congregation as delegated by the voters assembly.

Voters meetings are held quarterly with additional meetings scheduled as needed.

Various committees are formed and dissolved as needed. Currently, there are functioning committees for Outreach, Constitution, Compensation, and Property Planning. Committee members are appointed annually by the President.

Serving God and the people of Mt. Zion as an elected officer, board member, committee member, or voter is an important responsibility. We do well to remember the Apostle Paul’s encouragement to the Ephesian church leaders in Acts 20:28, “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.”
